Whenever we see the heading Garden Design we instantly think of major works, high costs, endless planning and a lot of disruption. But is that really what garden design is all about ?

When the media show us big gardens at the various flower shows it really does give the wrong impression to the general public. Garden design and planting is not all about the whole garden, it can easily be about small sections that just need lifting, renovating or simply freshening up.

Perhaps the patio area needs a refresh, you have cleaned the paving lets give it a floral framework that will last, you want a seating area but not the cost of hard standing, go natural, or perhaps a kitchen corner to grow herbs, vegetables and fruit, the courtyard just needs brightening up.

For the flower and nature lovers a simple but precise planting plan can brighten up any area of the garden, and there is always one which will solve that problem spot. These plans can change the whole look of a garden, it will bring life to those plants and the area around it, Butterflies, Moths and other Insects will soon become neighbours and create movement and interest in your garden area, regardless of size.
