Trends

With the world as it is today to many buildings, to many trees being cut down, poor management the most common sense trend has been naturalization. natural shapes and planting, Naturalistic design as well as making space for wildlife habitats in the garden.

Another valuable trend is making best use of small spaces, small back garden, front garden or courtyard it can be done. Many gardens are used as social gathering spaces so create interest, front gardens are vital in how people see you, they are peoples first impressions, how they picture you, your colour palette, shapes tell a story.

With many gardens forest gardening is now an issue, trees in the garden cleaning the air, habitats for wildlife and birds, various colour combinations through the year as well as the sculpted skeleton of those majestic tree shapes in winter.

Sitting in the garden with the trees and plants around you, birds singing, it gives a very good sense of calm. The wildlife are going about there daily business using the resources you have created for them. But, sometimes we need to be just that little further hidden to see the life in the garden to its full extent.

Its often said bring the garden in, really ? That means pot plants, house plants, and with room sizes that can be difficult and frustrating, so what do we do ?
